2. If I could give my younger self one piece of advice: Explore all of the opportunities in your community. Do things that inspire you and make connections with those that have similar passions to yours. Once you have found what inspires you, find a way to give back.
3. Personal motto: "In a world where you can be anything, be kind"

2. If I could give my younger self one piece of advice: The best advice is to be unapologetically yourself. If you know you are being the best version of yourself, then there will be no one who can break you down. You can truly accomplish anything if you believe in yourself.
3. Personal motto: If you have something nice to say, say it. Everyone loves being complimented. If you think, "That person is really nice," or, "They look amazing," you should tell them! It is rewarding for both parties and can make a positive impact on anyone's day.

2. If I could give my younger self one piece of advice: Trust yourself, listen to your own inner voice, and have confidence that you will find your own way in the world.
3. Personal motto: “Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine.” This is an Irish saying that roughly translates to "people live in the shadows of each other." In other words, people need each other in order to survive and thrive. This saying not only reminds me that I need my community and that it is ok to ask for help, it also reminds me to give back in my own way.

Kate Schieman
1. Post secondary school + Program:
  • University of Western Ontario – Master of Science in Geography
2. If I could give my younger self one piece of advice: Explore, challenge and take time for yourself. It is so important to focus on your well-being —mentally, physically and emotionally, without feeling guilty or selfish about it. That alone time you give yourself will allow you to continuously grow, learn and solidify your own identity and beliefs. The world will see you the way you see yourself, and treat you the way you treat yourself, so be kind.

Putri Widyawati

2. If I could give my younger self one piece of advice: A key advice I would give younger women is to always give 100% effort in everything you do. No matter how hard things get, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and once you succeed, it's going to feel so rewarding. Knowledge really is power and as women it is important to be educated so we can continue to empower one another.
3. Personal motto: To try and fail is better to not try at all.

2. If I could give my younger self one piece of advice: Don’t be afraid to ask questions- be brave, and be bold. Challenge yourself and try new things. Everything is an opportunity for learning, growth, and development. Everything and everyone teaches you something whether you realize it in the moment or further down the road. Get involved, volunteer and jump right in- say yes! You’ll be able to find your passion and be able to explore the world around you!
3. Personal motto: "Be brave alongside us. Be unafraid to advocate for issues that perhaps may be controversial today but 30 years from now your children and your grandchildren are going to be thankful that you stood up for what was right." - Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (New York)

Victoria Goldsack

2. If I could give my younger self one piece of advice: My advice to young women is to get involved in your school and community.  You will get so much back in return.  You should also treat life like a journey.  There may be bumps and detours along the way, but if you stay on the path, you will eventually reach your destination.
3. Personal motto: “The world is your oyster.”  To me, this means you can do anything or go anywhere your heart desires.  It just takes hard work and determination.
