Open Gym
Open gym time for persons 13 years and older. Children 6-13 can use the gymnasium facility during this time if supervised by and adult 14 years or older. Open gym is open for participation of any activity that does not require set up. Come join us. There’s no need to register.

Babysitting
Provided in partnership with Kidproof Canada, this program teaches participants how to find, prepare and be successful in their babysitting jobs. Also learn basic First Aid skills and how to respond in emergency situations. Students will receive a manual and certificate upon successful completion of the program.

Home Alone
This course is designed to prepare children for the responsibilities of looking after themselves. It will empower them with confidence and skills to care for themselves when home alone. Children will also have the opportunity to create safe, fun snacks that promote good health. Participants will learn strategies to look after themselves, how to prevent injuries, internet safety, stranger danger, how to handle emergencies, and so much more. Registration is limited to please register early.

Teen Night

Teen Nights will provide a safe and welcoming space for youth. A place where youth can interact with their peers and explore what the Y has to offer. Teen Nights are about spaces – open, free, welcoming spaces, not programming. This program will be open to all; members and nonmembers.
