YExperienceU (13-16 years)
YExperienceU helps build strong, confident and employable young adults, through unique and empowering experiences. In an 8-month term, 2.5 hours per week, youth learn hands-on skills tailored to their interests (exploring technology, the outdoors and food skills), gain experiences that help them get job ready, and create confident plans for tomorrow. Best of all, the program leads to a culminating special event at the end of the term, where participants showcase their skills in the real-world. This is a fee based program. Please inquire for more information.
Matched Education Savings Program (12-17 years of age)
Financial literacy is a key component of the NEW YMCA Matched Education SavingsProgram. Running in partnership with the United Way of London & Middlesex and Bank of Montreal, the program aims to improve participants’ financial planning skills, optimism about the future, control over their finances and ultimately attend post-secondary education.
