Adult Recreational Programs

Badminton
Be active and have fun in this non-competitive environment.  Play friendly games of singles and/or doubles.  Racquets provided.

Basketball
Be active and have fun in this non-competitive environment.  Pick-up games of half court 3 on 3 or full court 5 on 5.

Volleyball 
Be active and have fun in this non-competitive environment.  Pick-up games of 6 on 6 on a regular size indoor court.

Intramurals

Ball Hockey
Adults register as teams or individuals (individual registrants may be placed on a team or be combined to make a team), youth register as individuals.   Cost to be established by team and/or individuals.  Adults must have a minimum of 6 players on their roster to a maximum of 12 (includes goalies, youth have 6-8 players per team + goalie (depends on # of registrants).  Season length may vary (8-24 weeks) and is dependant on number of teams registered.  Must have team coloured shirts (i.e. white, red, etc.).  The game will consist of a 5 minute warm-up, 2 – 20 minute periods (run time) with a 2 minute break between periods.  Teams will play 4 on 4 (not including goalies) and YMCA staff will referee (all divisions) and coach (youth divisions). 

Football
Adults register as teams or individuals (individual registrants may be placed on a team or be combined to make a team), youth register as individuals.  Cost to be established by team and/or individuals.  Adults must have a minimum of 6 players on their roster to a maximum of 12. Youth have 8-14 players per team (depends on # of registrants).  Must have team coloured shirts (i.e. white, red, etc.).  Season length may vary (8-14 weeks) and is dependant on number of teams registered.  The game will consist of a 5 minute warm-up, 2 – 20 minute halves (run time) with a 5 minute break between halves.  A 5 minute sudden-death overtime period will be played if game tied at the end of regulation.  Teams will play 6 on 6 and YMCA staff will referee (all divisions) and coach (youth divisions). 

Indoor Soccer
