Community School Programs
Community School Programs are interest based clubs over the lunch hour and after school in 18 elementary schools across London, St. Thomas, and Woodstock. These literacy based programs are made possible through the support of the United Way, in partnership with the London District Catholic School Board and Thames Valley District School Board.
Focus on Youth is a partnership between the Ontario Ministry of Education, the GECDSB and the YMCA. The objective of Focus on Youth is to enhance the high quality summer program opportunities for children and youth in Windsor-Essex by offering free use of schools space for organized not-for-profit community-based programs and by providing employment opportunities and leadership activities for our secondary school students.
