Active and Creative Kids
Active and Creative Kids offers a variety of activities for children aged 6-12 years old including sports, crafts, active games and fitness. The goal of this program is to encourage children to have a healthy lifestyle in a supervised, fun and safe environment. Come join us. There is no need to register! 


This service included with a family membership, can be utilized by those who require care for their child(ren) while using the YMCA. Time limit: 2 hours Come join us. There's no need to register!

Fri Y**

Come join us for a swim, 1 slice of pizza and a juice box, and an hour of activity in the gym or tree house! Parents can leave the facility!

Shorin Ryu Karate

Shorin Ryu Karate is a striking art using punching, kicking, knee and elbow strikes, and open-handed techniques such as knife-hands. Grappling, locks, restraints, throws, and vital point strikes are taught in some styles.

Modern Martial Arts

Our Martial Arts program is the perfect place for your child to gain confidence in their physical abilities. Martial Arts focus on self-development skills, such as perseverance and hard work.  This program will teach your child how to maintain physical fitness and teach them valuable skills that will last a lifetime. Watch as your child tests their physical abilities and grows in mind and body.

Intro to Dance

Children love to explore their creative movement in the fun environment which is filled with songs, imagination and interpretation of music. The love for dance is emphasized as basic dance moves are developmentally introduced. Flexibility, co-ordination, agility, body awareness, confidence, strength, rhythm, and style are an integral part of the techniques and are developed in these fun classes.

Dance - Hip Hop

This program is designed to encourage a love of dance and movement while developing a stronger sense of body awareness and coordination.

Growing Chefs

Growing Chefs! Ontario cooking programs offered in partnership with the YMCA of Western Ontario are all about having fun exploring food and cooking! Children will learn the basics of food preparation, cooking techniques, healthy eating – but most of all, they'll learn how to create and enjoy amazing food with professional chefs. 

London Lightning Basketball - Freshman & Junior

The YMCA London Lightning Basketball Leagues provide players with an opportunity to improve their fundamental skills and develop their basketball potential. Take your game to new levels, have fun and learn from experienced coaches. 

Physical Literacy Floor Hockey 
This floor hockey program emphasizes physical literacy and aims to help little ones develop and build upon their fundamental movement skills. This is achieved through games and activities that promote this development.    

Ythrive Grow **

For children between the ages of 10-12 years old. Learn how to use equipment effectively and safely while discussing general etiquette and safety rules. This workout was designed to help the 10-12 yr old stay active and build the skills and confidence needed to remain active well into adulthood.
